Ringing the New Year in Chic Sequin Pants

This year, even though New Year’s Eve will be a quiet one doesn’t mean you can’t ring in the New Year in style! Sequins are all the rage this holiday season and there are so many chic affordable festive pieces to choose from.

Since New Year is a time to make bold choices, where you can have a little fun, why not take a bit more risk and have a chance to be more flashy? In a chic way bien-sûr!

The best part about sequins is you can still wear them after the holidays, in a little more understated style that is. You can pair your sequined piece with a sweater or basic tee. I also love the combination of sequin with denim or simply with a neutral colored blazer.

Life Update

We all had a little Christmas at home with my parents. I made the traditional beef tenderloin with gratin Dauphinois and Hubby served a Saint Emilion Grand Cru wine bottle. We ended the festin with La Bûche de Noël for dessert and calvados as a digestif.

It’s been to nice to unwind a bit but back to work this week, for a few days that is.

I’m so ready to ring in the New Year with my sequined pants and lots of champagne!
