The heat is here to stay and staying effortless chic while keeping cool can be a challenge.
A pair of wide leg pants is a chic alternative to jeans, which can leave you feeling a bit suffocated when it’s 98 degrees heat.
They’re also a chic alternative to shorts, if you don’t want to feel a little overexposed, especially if you’re going on a summer trip.
What I love about the wide leg pants style is while they give you maximum airflow, they’re super breezy and light and the high-waist fit looks great with summer tops.
You can see here how I styled these neutral wide leg pleated pants from Zara with a light summer top. Price originally at $39.99, they’re now on sale for $12.99!
Since the pants are a neutral color, I opted for a top that has a distinct pattern, color and shape like this black lace bralette, one-shoulder baby blue ruffle top and Hermès silk scarf you can wrap in the front and tie in the back.
Which look is your favorite?
As always, thanks for reading!
Stay cool mes amies!

Yes, the scarf is wrapped in the front and tied in the back. Thanks for stopping by!
Wow! Especially with the of shoulder top! Fabulous look!
These are all fabulous looks! I love the pants. They are super chic. I think my favorite way that you have styled these pants is with the bralette and blazer. But the scarf and blue ruffle top are tremendously stylish as well! Thanks for sharing and linking up!

I love all the outfits! You totally pull off the black bralette with the wide pants – I love the look but no good on me at my age! Thanks for joining #WowOnWednesday.
Both outfits are beautiful! I love that you color coordinated with the flowers too! The blue one shoulder top is very pretty and I love the blazer look. It is very hot here as well and I am always looking for cool materials.

WOW what a steal on those super elegant Zara pants. A Zara store is so far from me so I don’t get to go. But you did so great styling these 3 ways and I love how you can always make an outfit with a bra or see-through top look so sophisticated and sexy, never vulgar!
You look so great, Christine! That is why I featured you on Thursday Moda yesterday, CHECK IT OUT!! =)
