Blazer weather is here and I couldn’t get more excited! Don’t get me wrong, I do love summer dresses but I do miss wearing denim jeans and blazers on a beautiful crispy fall day!
This fall in particular, I am going for a more neutral palette that will allow me to re-create outfits on a budget (less is more) and mix and match a few staples that will guarantee an effortlessly chic fall look.
A neutral blazer is the perfect timeless and trend-forward staple for fall. I especially love blazers with an oversized cut.
When it comes to a good pair of jeans, I love a pair of straight-leg denim jeans. They go with about everything, and look super chic paired with a beige blazer.
To complete this easy-outfit ensemble, just add a ribbed tank top or a simple white tee. It’s still in the ’80s here so it’s been nice to slowly transition with a few summer basics.

I thought I would start sharing more about life in general.
Both of my kids started school.
My son, who’s a fourth year at UVA, went back to the grounds and moved in to his apartment with his friends. He has both online and in-person classes at the McEntire school. We are a bit nervous about COVID of course but trust him for making the right decisions.
My daughter, who’s a six grader, is doing virtual learning from home. She is a social butterfly at school so online learning is actually better for her. She does miss her friends of course!
We are looking forward to the fall and visiting our son in Charlottesville. It’s so beautiful there during the fall season. We plan on visiting a few vineyards that we haven’t been to yet.
How’s your start to September so far?
Hope you enjoyed this post!
As always, thanks for reading!
A bientôt ♥
