Happy December lovelies! It’s hard to believe the holidays are here as well as the brisk cold weather! We’re actually having snow flurries as I write this blog post!
I personally don’t mind the cold as soon as I can wrap myself in a cozy long coat, and a furry one that is!A faux-fur coat also called a Teddy bear coat, is a winter chic essential that all Parisian women wear during the cold winter months.
It’s the perfect winter essential to throw over jeans or leggings for a casual look or simply over a holiday dress like I did when hubby and I went out for his high school reunion at the Cosmos Club, a private social club in Washington DC.
This particular faux-fur coat is from Zara; it also comes in beige. I linked a few similar styles in the Shop The Look below.
I simply love the lining and the cut of this coat. It’s not too oversized, not too long and the material is not too shaggy. I did try a longer oversized style and felt like I was skimming in it and knew I would eventually feel cold! I prefer my coats to have a snug fit 🙂

We decorated our Christmas tree and all the decorations in our house over the Thanksgiving holiday so we can now enjoy all the festivities! My daughter and I be attending the Holiday Tea at the Four Seasons in Georgetown next Saturday to benefit the Children’s National Hospital and we will all be celebrating Christmas in Québec City, Canada and already have some fun activities planned for the whole family!

Love the coat on you! It looks so stylish with the silver and black outfit. I received a rust colored teddy coat last year for Christmas, so Ill need to style it more on the blog. It is like a cozy blanket isn’t it!
