Springtime in the Virginia country side is so beautiful; it reminds me of the French country with all the daffodils, forsythia, tulips and wineries!
I just love packing for a wine country adventure! All you need are comfortable shoes or boots and your favorite denim so you can enjoy the beautiful views, the wine and the company!
I would admit that my go-to winery look is definitely a denim-on-denim jeans outfit paired with tan suede boots and a striped blazer.
For a more dressy look, you can simply style your favorite boots with a maxi dress or belted pleated skirt and top it off with a hat.
It was Easter weekend when we visited my son in Charlottesville so it was the perfect occasion to wear a hat!
We simply love the Charlottesville area, also known as Virginia’s Wine Country with more than 30 beautiful wineries all located on the Monticello Wine Trail as so close to the town. The country views are so scenic, especially on a sunny Spring day!
It’s hard to believe my son will be graduating from UVA in May so before he does, we’re winery hopping as much as possible!
We visited Blenheim Vineyards and Knight’s Gambit Vineyards for the first time. Pippin Hill Farm and Veritas Vineyards are next on the bucket list. We’re hoping to hit these when we visit our son for his graduation next month.
What’s your favorite winery? Do you have a go-to vineyard outfit?
As always, thanks for reading.
A bientôt ♥
