Collaboration with Madison Reed Color Bar

Last December, I had the pleasure to experience the first Madison Reed Color Bar in Bethesda, Maryland, an unique color-only bar salon concept.

If you’re not familiar with Madison Reed, they started their business online selling customized color box and shipping directly to their customers. They are now expanding rapidly to a more physical presence across the US.

I love their whole concept from offering clients a free color consultation with a licensed colorist to getting a blow out after your color is done. Note that their Color Bar concept delivers beautiful colors – you can choose from 50 shades – free of harsh chemicals, for just $60 or $30 for a color-reviving gloss – all under an hour and a half. All of their products are free of ammonia, PPD, resorcinol, paravents, phthalates, gluten, SLS, titanium dioxide. You can also buy the Take Me Home Today kit that has everything you need to maintain your new shade at home.

I can’t rave enough from my experience!

First, I was welcome by the receptionist who asked if I wanted a glass of water or a cup of tea. She then introduced me to my colorist who gave me a consultation and created my profile on her iPad with all my color formula information should I decide to order it later online.

I’m so happy with my roots! Red hair is more of a challenge to color and my colorist did an amazing job! The best part is getting my color done so quickly, less than one hour and a half!

My hair is still soft and shiny after getting my hair colored two weeks ago and I can’t wait to go back.

Love having a fresh new color for the new year!

On that note, I wish you all a happy new year, filled with much happiness and health!

As always, thanks for reading!

A bientôt ♥
