Effortless French Chic Spring Street Style

Effortless French Chic Spring Street Style

Spring has finally sprung – well almost! We’re still having rainy and cold temperatures but at least the snow is gone!

During this transitional time, I reach out for basics and refresh my wardrobe with timeless staples like jeans and white tees.

Early spring is a great time to buy yourself a new pair of denim. After the long winter, it feels good to try out a new cut! I recently added the wide leg jeans to my wardrobe and love pairing it with booties and a leather jacket. Check out my last blog post to shop the look.

For this effortless French chic street style outfit, a pair of skinny jeans like the high waist Levi’s 501 works best along with these wardrobe essentials:

  • Checked or Plaid Blazer – a blazer elevates any outfit to that instant French chic look when paired with skinny jeans
  • Skinny Jeans – you can’t go wrong with the classic Levi’s 501 skinny jeans.  For spring and summer, go with a lighter wash shade.
  • White tee or buttoned down shirt – I can’t tell you how many white tees I own! A simple white tee or classic white shirt is all you need.
  • Sneakers – believe it or not, I only own a few pair of sneakers and never really embraced the white sneakers trend until I tried the Adidas Superstar with gold stripes. They are beyond comfortable and so stylish! Just swap your sneakers with pumps for a more dressy look.
