Last weekend I had the pleasure to celebrate my good friend Simply Sylvia’s 50th birthday at the elegant Alhambra restaurant at The St. Regis hotel in Washington DC. Sylvia was one of the first fashion blogger I met who shares the same passion for French culture and rocks an effortless Parisian chic style!
Located a few blocks from the White House, the historic St. Regis hotel is a DC icon of restored elegance and luxury where royalty, presidents and prime ministers have been spotted for years.
Alhambra is a modern Mediterranean restaurant with a heavy French Riviera influence that serves the most unique and delicious Sunday brunch in town.
What I enjoyed most about Alhambra is the traditional Sunday brunch buffet with its Chilled Seafood Station of fresh oysters and octopus salad; the cheese and charcuterie Stations and the dessert bar. Yum, c’est très bon!
For your main entrée, you have the choice of the rockfish “en Papillote”, the decadent lobster Benedict, the duck confit, lamb shank or the traditional blueberry or banana pancakes.
The renowned chef, Sébastien Giannini, originally from Toulon in the South of France, takes great pride in presenting an authentic Mediterranean menu inspired by his native French Riviera. I can’t wait to go back with hubby this time, who is a seafood and cheese connoisseur.
The price is $59 per person which is so reasonable! Children under 12 dine free.
For this happy occasion, I picked this floral bell long sleeve dress which is perfect for Sunday Brunch in town. You can shop this look on the LIKETOKNOW app. I have linked a few other styles as well. I’ll share next week how you can can style a floral dress this fall.
What about? Where is your favorite place to go to for Sunday Brunch?
Hope you enjoyed this post.
A bientôt ♥
