Happy May 1st! Transitioning to Spring has been a bit challenging this year to say the least.
I personally don’t mind so I get to wear layers, scarves and blazers a little longer and prepare my fair skin with exfoliating and self-tanner for the warmer days 🙂
This year, I got an early start at my spring shopping on our trip to Las Vegas over Spring break. I can’t believe it’s been a month already!
Shopping on a budget in a fashion Mecca like Vegas is a bit overwhelming. I had set my budget at $500 with the goal of getting a few essentials to refresh my wardrobe just to get me through the colder part of spring. It always helps to have a list in mind so you don’t end up buying on an impulse!
My list consisted of:
- Stripe track pants
- Long structured white blazer
- A few tops (graphic tee and striped blouse)
- Flare denim jeans
- Open toe sandals
- Long pink cardigan
I can’t tell you how excited I am about these chic stripe track pants from Zara! The fit is perfect thanks to the elastic belt in the back. You can style these chic athletic track pants for the office with a long white blazer or on the weekends with a denim jacket and sneakers for a more casual street style.
The long structured off white blazer is from Dynamite. It was my first time shopping at Dynamite, a Canadian brand whose parent company also owns the Garage stores. I love the long cut which helps elongates any figure. A white or off white blazer is a great versatile staple for spring and summer that will look chic with denim shorts or jeans.
Hope you enjoyed both looks!
As always, thanks for reading.
A bientôt ♥

love track pants! I just got a pair by Topshop from Nordstrom.
I’m seeing these everywhere in the stores, but not tried them yet! Maybe I should see how they look on me. Thanks for joining me on the #chicandstylish #linkup. Jacqui Mummabstylish
Love the way these trackpants look on you Christine! I know there are many styles, more jogger types I suppose, but I like this more tailored look! Very put together with your fun tee and blazer! Yes, I am another fair girl, but not too good at the self tanner, so Ill stay a bit pale 🙂
Love those pretty sandals too!
