Spring Break in Las Vegas

Spring Break in Las Vegas

This year was not a typical spring break for our family. We spent it apart from our kids as we traveled for hubby’s business to Las Vegas. My daughter was super excited to go to her grand-parents who live on the Eastern Shore and our son was back at UVA after spending his spring break in New York. So win win for everyone, right?

It was really nice to have some couple time even though it was a business trip and I worked Hubby’s event for one day. Don’t you worry, I negotiated for a day of shopping in return!

Shopping is of course one of my favorite thing to do in Vegas and what a better place to be to refresh your spring wardrobe! There are a few shopping malls on the Las Vegas strip including high-end boutiques at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace – which are located right under the resort – and Fashion Mall with more than 250 stores. It’s definitely a fashionista paradise and I can’t wait to share with you all my new spring staples!

Aside from the amazing shopping experience, dining and the nightlife in Vegas are over the top!

We didn’t have much time to venture outside the Caesars Palace where we stayed but managed to dine at Nobu and Cucina, one of Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant. I was a bit disappointed not to see Calvin Harris who has a residency at OMNIA, Caesars Palace’s nightclub but instead saw Tiësto, an international DJ whose famous for electronic dance music. The club scene is Vegas is something else and I would just leave it as “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”.

We did take the time on our first day to stroll the beautiful gardens and pools at the Caesars Palace and take some outfit pictures! It was a bit windy but the photos came out really nicely thanks to the clear luminosity of the west coast!
