Weekends are all about spending time with my family and my nine year daughter Ella. Needless to say that weekends with a nine year are very active so comfort is number one for this mama!
While Saturdays are busy running errands, shopping and going to sport activities, we like keeping our Sundays more mellow and reserved for family time. We typically go out for a nice lunch with a European flavor. Our favorite hangouts are Café Deluxe in Tysons Corner and Mon Ami Gabi in Reston. I call them my other kitchens as we go there quite often!
Leggings are definitely my go-to staples on the weekends. This faux leather pair from Hue is my latest addiction. They are so soft and do not show any wrinkles. I love layering a white tunic shirt over it with a sweater, put on my most comfortable black boots and call it a day!
The trick to make any casual outfit effortless chic is to wear monochromatic essentials in shades of black, grey and white. Ever wondered why French women mostly wear all black, grey or black and white? It’s the quintessential Parisian chic style!
