In one of my previous blog post, I shared how French girls love quality basics and how you can easily create a 5-piece French wardrobe. Today, I’m sharing a fun Parisian look that you can easily put together with the following basics: a striped tee, a slip black dress and a béret.
Getting that effortless Parisian girl style is not as sophisticated as one would think. It’s really effortless if you just keep your outfit simple and pair the right basics together!
The key staples for that instant Parisian girl look is a béret and striped tee. While you can simply style a striped tee with jeans, I love layering it under a little black slip dress, to get more of that flirty Parisian girl look as featured in this Dior ad. I didn’t quite get the same pose but you get the idea! A slip black dress is such a versatile essential that you can always style for a chic day to night look.
If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed the béret has been one of my favorite accessory this winter. There’s a long list of chic women sporting the beret like Brigitte Bardot and Twiggy. I’m so happy it has made a come back and is cooler than ever.
