French women are known for their minimalist looks wearing mostly all black or grey with a pop of color in their accessories.
This fall, we’re seeing many shades of red in the streets of Paris with red bérets, red sunglasses, red boots and red lipstick of course!
On my last trip to Zara, I got very lucky: I scored these adorable red sock boots which happened to be everywhere at London Fashion Week last September. On the same shopping spree, I scored this grey tomboy coat and checked trousers!
What I love about this double breasted light grey coat is the masculine cut and short length. A new coat is a great way to refresh your winter wardrobe and this particular boyish style is the perfect outwear that will give you that instant Parisian effortless look. Grey is a neutral color that goes with about anything, but this grey coat looks very chic layered over skinny jeans, leather pants and a black dress.
The red velvet sock boots spice up any winter and holiday outfits. I can’t tell you how many compliments I have received! The best part is they feel like socks when I put them on and comfort is always a number one priority for this French Girl!
