French Chic Denim on Denim Fall Outfit

Dark denim is the ultimate chic staple for fall. It has an industrial feel to it and if styled right, can be a chic casual office or chic weekend outfit. I simply love wearing my worn out denim jacket in the fall before wrapping myself in my wool winter coats!

To keep the look clean from top-to-toe, I styled an old Gap dark indigo wash denim jacket with this Michael Kors denim skirt that happens to have the same wash. You can replace the skirt with jeans to achieve this industrial urban look.

The plaid leggings had a nice fall touch. If you notice, I don’t wear a lot of patterns. I like adding an accent color or pattern to my outfits here and there. With that said, I’m evolving my style and bought my first plaid blazer which I can’t wait to share with you soon!

The short sleeves cashmere shell is perfect for dealing with cold and hot temperatures in the same day!

To complete the look, I paired this workwear-inspired outfit with a pair of black leather sock booties. Suede or velvet booties would look chic as well. I haven’t found the perfect pair yet and still debating between a burgundy or light blue velvet color. Maybe I should get both if I can’t make my mind up!
