French Chic Cardigan & Camisole For Fall

Fall is all about layers and mixing rich fabrics and patterns together. This fall, we’re seeing a lot of velvet, suede, satin, corduroy and denim of course. Mixing different fabrics in one outfit is a great way to make any casual look chic.

For this street style casual outfit, I layered a crochet cardigan over a satin camisole with high-rise black skinny jeans and completed the look with my favorite Adidas pink sneakers.

French women love their clothes to be worn out season after season so it shouldn’t be a surprise when I tell you that one of my favorite cardigan is a few years old. Don’t you worry, I’ve found one from Free People that is very similar.

The one tip when wearing an oversized or chunky cardigan or sweater is to keep the rest of your outfit fitted to make the cardigan the statement piece.

The long cardigan and camisole or « Cardi & Cami » combination is a must-have to any French Chic fall wardrobe. Throwing a long cardigan over denim is the most effortless chic look for fall that will take you anywhere in style!

This look is so comfortable that I literally sat on the sidewalk during our photoshoot!
