This French Chic summer dress outfit post is pretty special as today is my birthday and the first time co-hosting a linkup party! The charming and stylish Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood kindly invited me to co-host her popular Moda Thursday link-up party and choose to feature our dressy French-inspired outfit and casual Parisian look. Talk about a nice birthday present!
While we’ve never met in person, Ada and I connected right away. We’re both moms to young adorable daughters, love fashion of course and often post matching outfits with our daughters! I admire Ada’s style and versatility and absolutely love her creativity and how quickly she can put an outfit together.
Here’s a little bit about Ada: “I am Ada, the blogger behind the life+style blog Elegance and Mommyhood, a blog I started the year I got pregnant and have since turned into a Mommy+Me blog because my 4-year old daughter Vivian is often a huge part of my style posts. My blog is about my everyday affordable style as a mom, wife and professional. You don’t have to spend a lot to live a good life and dress well. Some of my favorite stores to shop at are Target, Loft, Express, Old Navy and Banana Republic, but always with a good deal. Here in the Mitten state, you can experience weird weather at any day so layers are a must for me. I welcome you to check out my blog and you can also follow me on Bloglovin and Instagram – where I share other content and snippets of my everyday life on Insta Stories. Welcome and check it out and join my linkup on Thursdays.”
Now let’s talk about my summer dressy look. This short dress is from See U Soon , a European brand clothing line that embodies “Parisienne Chic” style by combining simple and feminine lines with natural and soft fabric. I fell in love with the cut and the soft blush print which has a bit of a bohemian look and cabaret style to it! I absolutely love the low crisscross details in the back and how it flows naturally on my body. It’s also a great versatile piece that you can wear as a tunic on top of denim jeans. You can purchase the dress or view the entire collection online at MonShowRoom.com or La Redoute which has a limited collection.

Wearing a short dress is perfect for a midsummer evening soirée on the town or a cocktail party. Just dress it up with your favorite summer heels and pashmina for those cooler nights.

Happy birthday sweet lady! It is my pleasure co-hosting my Thursday Moda linkup on such a special day for you. That Parisienne-chic dress is indeed perfect for a dressy French-inspired outfit and I love how you styled it. Going with a head to toe blush+nude look was a great idea and such cute little heels. Love all the photos, especially the one of you smelling the roses. Coincidentally, there are red roses from my garden, in my post, also.
Thanks so much for the kind words about me Christine and I hope we get to co-host again the future! Enjoy your day today!!
<3 Ada.

Oh wow, this dress is so beautiful! I love the pale neutral tones in the floral. The colors are so flattering on you. And that criss cross back detail really elevates the look. I also really love your more casual outfit, too. I would absolutely wear both of these outfits!
